On 29 November 2025, Weshine Technologies had the privilege of conducting an in-person workshop titled “Empower Your Work with AI” at library@harbourfront in Singapore as part of the National Library Board’s My Digital Life learning series. The session welcomed professionals and business owners who were eager to learn practical ways AI can support their work. The workshop was led by Jay Ng, CEO and Founder of Weshine, who shared real-world insights on how AI can enhance productivity and decision-making.
Bringing Practical AI Skills to the Community
The workshop was designed as a hands-on learning experience that allowed participants to try simple AI tools and techniques directly. Rather than focusing on programming or advanced technical concepts, the session highlighted accessible ways to use AI to organise information, simplify workflows, support creative work, and improve productivity. The session aimed to show that AI can act as a practical teammate in any professional setting.
AI for Everyday Tasks Presented in a Simple Way
During the workshop, Jay guided participants through what AI can realistically do in a typical workday, how it can improve writing and planning tasks, and examples of how AI is increasingly integrated into modern workplaces. Participants also learned about the potential of AI agents in helping manage repetitive tasks. Many attendees appreciated how the concepts were presented clearly and made AI feel approachable and directly useful for their work.
Contributing to Accessible Digital Learning
This workshop reflects Weshine’s commitment to making digital skills and modern work tools more accessible across Southeast Asia and beyond. Collaborating with the National Library Board provides an opportunity to support digital literacy efforts and introduce practical AI knowledge to the wider community. As work continues to evolve, Weshine aims to help individuals stay adaptable, confident, and future-ready.
The positive response to this session encourages Weshine to continue sharing insights on AI, modern work trends, and the evolving landscape of talent and recruitment in future learning opportunities. We look forward to participating in more initiatives that support communities, professionals, and organisations seeking practical guidance on using AI in their daily work.
